迪拜出租车费率（2026年）All Dubai taxis are operated by or licensed under the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA). The fleet is cream/beige-coloured with a coloured roof panel indicating the company (Dubai Taxi Corp = red, Cars Taxi = orange, Metro Taxi = yellow, National Taxi = green). All use the same regulated RTA meter rates. The flag fall covers the first 850 m, after which the per-km rate kicks in. A AED 3 airport surcharge is added at Dubai International Airport (DXB) — this is legitimate and applies on top of the metered fare.

Dubai Metro as a Taxi AlternativeThe Dubai Metro Red Line runs from the airport (Terminals 1 and 3 via Airport Free Zone station) through Downtown and all the way to Dubai Marina. For solo travellers, it is the cheapest option by far at AED 3–8.50 depending on zones. Journey from DXB to Downtown is approximately 20 minutes, to Dubai Marina about 40 minutes. The Red Line does not serve Palm Jumeirah, JBR, or the older Deira residential areas.
Unofficial Taxis and Scams at DXB⚠️Unlicensed drivers occasionally approach travellers inside DXB arrivals and offer rides at "fixed prices" of AED 150–200 for routes that should cost AED 50–75 by meter. These drivers are not RTA-licensed and are operating illegally. Always use the official taxi rank (cream/beige cars) outside the arrivals exit or book via the Dubai Taxi app or Careem.
•Non-RTA vehicles claiming to be official taxis — all legitimate Dubai taxis are cream/beige coloured.•Drivers offering flat rates significantly above the metered equivalent — always insist on the meter.•Sharjah/Abu Dhabi surcharges being applied incorrectly for journeys that stay within Dubai.•Phantom "toll charges" — Dubai does not use road tolls on taxi routes (Salik is absorbed into fares on major roads).Tipping in Dubai TaxisTipping is not expected or mandatory in Dubai taxis.
